Victorian Lampshades – Previous Masterpieces
Previously sold lamps shown as examples of our work.
Each of our lamps has a unique Victorian lampshade hand made from antique materials with hand beaded fringes on a refurbished period lamp base.

Shade frame shape is the “Olivia”, silk is ombre dyed red into glowing gold. Covered in rich antique French gold metallic lace and trims. Fabulous a so hard to find antique French appliques are all from the same Vestment textile and include heart with lily flower, fire and flower wreath, bleeding heart with crown of thorns and fire, both hearts have gold iris beading in sunburst pattern radiating from behind and elaborate rose with foliage in side panels. Hand beaded fringe picks up the fiery glow of the shade and has wonderful oval carved Madonna beads included. Shade tops a antique French or possibly Italian carved pricket stick lamp. Feathered plume finial. 33 1/2″ tall.

“Half Moon” shaped shade is ombre dyed rosey wine into gold amber. Covered in antique gold metallic lace, antique metallic net lace and antique French metallic trims with elaborate heavily embroidered and beaded vintage appliques on 4 sides. Shade rests on the most wonderful antique 20s carved elephant lamp with original paint. Platform for this is a metal piece carved with sitting Budda with mountains and trees that has a antique velvet top with Victorian amethyst beaded edge, piece can be used with or without the platform. Hand beaded fringe along bottom edge. 21″ tall.

“Portrait Oval” shaped shade is ombre dyed amethyst into green, covered in black and gold metallic antique lace, large 3D silk multi coloreed purple blue flower with meandering silk and metallic emb flowers with hits of fuschia, gold, green and rusty orange extending cover the front panel, trim is rarest Victorian metallic coil with green iris beading and a paler green iris beaded metallic on side struts, hand beaded fringe is in purples and greens with a twisted rope green iris swag that matches the trims, lamp is a myhtic greenman or northwind figure with verde gris patina, this lamp has a wonderful luminous sparkling glow. 24″ tall to finial top.

Stately “Gothic Nouveau” shaped shade has custom jeweled inserts in the 6 narrow sections, colors top to bottom are amber, green, red and violet, silk underpinning is ombre dyed red into olive and green, covering is antique gold metallic vestment roses lace, gold netting is in arches with wonderful colored antique silk metallic appliques in each, 6 jeweled antique vestment appliques in top dome, shade rests on aa antique base that has polychrome paint with double angel center, double griffin finial, rose and foliate paw footed with marble bottom. Intricate beading has an rare unusual crown shaped filigree componet, SPECTACULAR! 74″ tall.

Large, stately over the top masterpiece “tulip” shaped shade is covered in an amazing antique Chinoiserie (French doing Chinese) embroidered with elaborate Phoenix bird and florals on all 4 sides, this has been ombre overdyed in rich gold into amber, the silk of this piece is quite rich and unusual as it absolutely glows, antique fantasy silk and metallic embroidered birdlike feather appliques are in the 4 small gold metallic net covered inserts, 6 ombe dyed hand beaded tassels with include cloissone decorate, 2 being the pull chains, lamp base is an antique cast highly carved foliate design, close up s of this upon request. This lamp would go perfectly with the “Cloud” shade that I have available. 78″ tall.
